My Story
My name is Callie Marie and I am 22 years old. I am an alumna of The University of Tampa and graduated Cum Laude in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in both Advertising/Public Relations and Design.
I’ve lived in Florida almost my whole life, but I’ve spent substantial time in Lake Oswego, Oregon where I attended high school. My experience living in various places across the U.S. like California, Oregon, Texas, and Florida has allowed me to gain a broad perspective on various lifestyles and ideologies.
Throughout my life I have loved art and I’ve been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil. It has always been an important aspect of who I am and it is huge part of my identity. As I got older, I began to venture in graphic design, web design, and advertising/marketing. I have loved every second of learning and truly understanding just how important and crucial design is to our world.
I am passionate about design and eager to learn new techniques and tools. I believe that every business needs effective and visually stunning branding to stand out in today's competitive market. That's why I'm committed to providing refreshingly bold and uniquely refined design solutions for each client.
I have expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, CSS, Wordpress, physical mediums, and more. I always aim to learn new programs as much as I can. I am creative, detail-oriented, and able to work within tight deadlines, which I believe are fundamental characteristics for a good designer. I worked as a bartender for over year, so I understand the importance of being able to work under pressure and satisfy customers. Also, I possess excellent communication skills and enjoy working collaboratively with clients to bring their vision to life. I'm confident that I can provide high-quality design services that can help elevate any business.
Something unique about me is that I’ve studied Japanese for well over 7 years and I am working towards fluency. Japanese culture is beautiful and fascinating to me and I choose to honor their culture through learning the language. I am also a part-time trivia host at various bars throughout the Tampa Bay Area and it has allowed me to build confidence speaking to and interacting with large groups of people.
